Yes, the domain says untstuck. We bought it at 2am with ADHD. It felt right to keep it.

Your brain isn't broken.
You just need one step.

Unstuck is a text-message companion that helps women with ADHD cut through decision paralysis and executive dysfunction. No app. No plan. Just the one thing to do right now.

We'll be in touch once we've ironed out (most of) the wrinkles.

*no actual ironing involved

You're on the list! We'll be in touch.

No app to download. No account needed. Just text.

Sound familiar?

You're not lazy. You're not broken. It's called executive dysfunction.

You know exactly what you need to do. The problem isn't knowing — it's starting. Task initiation is the executive function that says "begin now," and yours is on a coffee break.

Your friend asked where you want to eat and now you've been comparing menus for an hour and you're not even hungry anymore.

You have 83 unread emails and the thought of opening your inbox makes you want to take a nap on the floor.

Simpler than you think.

No app to drain your working memory. No account to forget the password to. No onboarding flow. Just text.

Text us when you're stuck

Staring at a wall of tasks? Can't pick a restaurant? Paralyzed by 30 open tabs? Text Unstuck.

We ask one question

We don't need your life story. Just one thing to calibrate — usually your energy level right now.

You get one clear step

Not a plan. Not a list. One specific thing you can do in the next 5–15 minutes.

Built for your brain.

Not another productivity tool. An anti-productivity-tool tool, really.

One action, not a plan

Every interaction ends with a single next step. Never a list of 5 things you also won't do.

Zero shame

We'll never imply you should have started earlier or tried harder. You're doing your best.

Energy-aware

Low energy gets the tiniest step. High energy gets something you can ride. We always ask.

Eliminate, don't evaluate

We help you cross off options, not add more. Down to two? Both are probably fine.

Short exchanges

3–5 messages, done. No novels. No lectures. Just clarity.

No new systems

We will never suggest a new app. (Unless you realllly want us to.) You have 11 to-do lists already. The lists are the problem.

Use us whenever. Or never. Or again.

Ghosted us for a month? Cool. Text whenever you're stuck again. No "where have you been?" No streaks to break. No guilt. We're just here.

What is Unstuck?

Unstuck is an SMS-based ADHD support companion that helps women with ADHD overcome executive dysfunction, decision paralysis, and task initiation challenges — via plain text message.

Unlike ADHD coaching ($200–400/month) or productivity apps that add cognitive load, Unstuck delivers one clear next step calibrated to your energy level, in under 60 seconds, 24/7. No app to download. No account to create. No new system to learn.

Built specifically for neurodivergent brains that struggle with choice overload, working memory limitations, and time blindness, Unstuck acts as an external executive function — a virtual body double and accountability partner that meets you where you already are: your text messages.

Questions you might have

Is this therapy?
Nope. Unstuck is a decision-support companion, not a therapist. We help you pick what to eat for dinner, not process childhood trauma. If you're in crisis, we'll always connect you with real support resources.
Is this an AI?
Yes — Unstuck is powered by "AI" The tech: Large Language Models — the same kind of tech behind the chatbots you've seen everywhere lately. The real work: The system we built around it — carefully designed rules, personality, boundaries, and decision frameworks that guide every response. The difference: Without that work, it's just a chatbot. With it, it knows how ADHD brains get stuck — and how to help you move. that's been carefully designed for ADHD brains. But it doesn't feel like talking to a robot. It feels like texting a friend who's really good at cutting through noise.
Is my data private?
Your conversations are never shared or sold. We keep a short history to give you better responses within a session, but that's it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Unstuck works via plain text messages. No app, no account, no password to forget and reset three times. Just save the number and text when you need it.
What if I text at 2am?
We're here. Unstuck is available 24/7 because decision paralysis doesn't keep business hours. (And honestly, 2am is when half of our best thinking happens anyway.)
What is executive dysfunction and how does Unstuck help?
Executive dysfunction is a hallmark of ADHD that affects task initiation, planning, and follow-through. It's not laziness — it's a neurological difference in how your brain manages cognitive load. Unstuck works with executive dysfunction instead of against it: rather than asking you to plan, prioritize, and organize (all executive functions), we cut straight to one concrete action calibrated to your current energy level. Think of it as an external executive function — the part of your brain that says "do this next," delivered via text.
How is this different from ADHD coaching?
ADHD coaching typically costs $200–400/month and requires scheduled sessions. Unstuck is $9/month and available the moment you need it — no appointments, no prep, no "homework." We're not replacing your coach or therapist. Think of us as the layer between sessions: the accountability partner you can text at 2am when you're spiraling about tomorrow's to-do list. For many women with ADHD, traditional coaching is out of reach financially or logistically. Unstuck fills that gap.
Why text messages instead of an app?
Because downloading another app is the last thing an ADHD brain needs. Apps require logins, updates, notifications you'll eventually mute, and one more icon on a screen full of icons you're already ignoring. SMS lives in your existing texting app — the one you already check 100 times a day. There's zero friction between "I'm stuck" and "help." No working memory required to remember where the tool lives. No cognitive load of learning a new interface.
Can Unstuck help with decision paralysis?
That's literally what we're built for. Decision paralysis — also called analysis paralysis or choice overload — is one of the most common ADHD experiences. Your brain sees 15 options, can't rank them, and freezes. Unstuck's approach: we don't help you evaluate all 15. We help you eliminate down to 2, then tell you both are fine. The goal isn't the "perfect" choice. It's any forward motion. Most decisions are reversible. We help you act on that truth.
Is this only for women with ADHD?
Unstuck is designed with women and ADHD in mind because that intersection is massively underserved — women are diagnosed later, masking is more common, and the tools that exist rarely speak to that experience. But we welcome anyone with an ADHD brain (or a suspected one) who resonates with what we do. If you're neurodivergent and the words "I can't start" make your soul ache, you're welcome here.
What is the ADHD tax and how does Unstuck reduce it?
The "ADHD tax" is the real financial and emotional cost of living with unmanaged ADHD: late fees, impulse purchases, expired groceries, duplicate subscriptions you forgot to cancel. Some estimates put the ADHD tax at thousands of dollars per year. Unstuck helps reduce it by catching you in decision moments — before the impulse buy, before the deadline passes, before the paralysis compounds. At $9/month, Unstuck often pays for itself the first time it prevents one "ADHD tax" moment.
What if I don't text for a while?
Then you don't text for a while. When you come back, we won't mention it. No "it's been 3 weeks!" No passive-aggressive check-in. No streak counter resetting to zero. You text, we help, that's it. ADHD means your relationship with every tool is inconsistent — we built for that, not against it.
How quickly does Unstuck respond?
Usually within 60 seconds (the goal is to be much faster than that, on average). Unstuck is available 24/7 because time blindness means your "I need help" moment might be 11pm on a Tuesday. Unlike ADHD coaching with scheduled sessions or apps that require you to open them, Unstuck is always a text away. Think of it as a virtual body double — someone who's there to help you start, whenever you're ready to start.
